We want your every interaction with YourGasEnergy to feel fair and straightforward. If something has gone wrong with a payment, we'll do our best to make it right. Here's how our refund process works.

When You're Eligible for a Refund

Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:

  • Payments made for services that have not yet been rendered
  • Service or processing fees charged in error

What we're not able to refund is energy you've already used. Gas that's been consumed through active service is a cost that's already been incurred on our end. Any refund request needs to come to us within 30 days of the original payment date.

Refund Processing

Once we receive your request, we'll review it within 5 business days and let you know the outcome. If your refund is approved, the money will go back to your original payment method within 10 business days. We'll keep you in the loop throughout.

Limitations

We reserve the right to decline refund requests that fall outside the conditions above. That said, nothing in this policy is intended to override any rights you already have under local, state, or federal consumer protection laws .Those always apply.
